This policy explains how On Track Investor uses cookies and similar browser storage. You can use the website and submit the Kit form after rejecting analytics.

Necessary consent preference

The site uses local storage—not an advertising cookie—to remember your analytics choice under the key oti_analytics_consent. The value records whether analytics was accepted or rejected. Without this storage, the banner would need to ask again on every visit.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics does not load and no GA4 request is intentionally sent before you select “Accept Analytics.” After acceptance, the site loads the Google tag for measurement ID G-G6MGJPT1YS and sends one initial page-view event. GA4 may then set first-party cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie.

If you reject analytics, the Google tag stays off. If you later withdraw consent, the site disables further GA4 tracking for the current page, removes the injected Google tag element, and attempts to delete accessible _ga and _ga_* cookies. A request already in progress cannot always be recalled.

Kit form and email service

The signup form is provided by Kit so visitors can request the Starter Roadmap and subscribe to related content. The form remains available whether analytics is accepted or rejected. Loading or submitting the form creates network requests to Kit’s services. Kit may use cookies or browser storage for form delivery, security, abuse prevention, subscription handling, or service measurement.

Kit may receive technical information about form visits and submissions in order to provide and operate the signup form. Kit requests are separate from Google Analytics and can occur even when Google Analytics is rejected.

Because the exact Kit storage behavior can vary by browser, configuration, and service updates, this policy does not invent or promise a fixed list of Kit cookie names. You can review your browser’s storage controls and Kit’s current privacy information for additional detail.

How to make or change your choice

• Accept: Select “Accept Analytics” to allow GA4 to load.
• Reject: Select “Reject Analytics” to keep GA4 off.
• Withdraw or reconsider: Select Cookie Settings in the footer, then choose again.

You may also clear site data through your browser. Doing so removes the saved preference and causes the banner to appear again.
